ADARA Team Event

Classic cars, rockin’ music and hot chili!  Last weekend, the Adara at Otay Ranch team came out to Pio Pico Thousand Trails to support the Kiwanis Club of Greater Jamul’s 10th annual Hot Rods and Chili Cook-off, and we are still cooling ourselves off from the heat this event cooked up!

The cook-off wasn’t just about indulging in East County’s hottest rides and homemade chili though. Hundreds of Jamul residents and community neighbors came out to support the Jamul Kiwanis Scholarship Program, which is dedicated to helping Jamul and Dulzura students advance their future. Committed to “improving the world one child at a time,” the Kiwanis Club of Greater Jamul Foundation will use the funds raised from this year’s event to help graduating high school seniors support their college or technical school expenses after graduation. The money will also help Jamul middle school students fund their history class field-trip to Washington D.C.

Events like this help bring the community together while raising money to help local students advance their education.  As strong supporters of the local community and the youth that represent our future, we are appreciative to have been part of this event.

The Adara team is proud to support the Jamul community and looks forward to future events (and chili)!
